Great location for an evening drink and good food.
Been here a few times in the past and always go back when we are in Laguna area of Phuket. Great cocktails served up by Tri and the team and a wide variety of food options although we always had Thai. They have an arrangement with the Pizza restaurant next door and saw a few people having these which looked really good. The location is fantastic as right at the end of Canal Village on a small jetty so very peaceful and they have regular group of musicians which made things very relaxing.

Beautiful place spoiled by poor service.
I visited this place with my partner, it's a lovely looking location overlooking the lake. The cocktails are fairly priced and really strong which so far has been a rarity in this area, you can barely taste alcohol in cocktails in most locations near the beach or Laguna. This is all overshadowed unfortunately by the terrible service. We ordered food and drinks in happy hour, we were promised that the second free cocktail each would come after we had drank the first ones, this never happened and we were still charged for both cocktails when it was buy one get one free. Secondly, the food came out my partner received all of her food and I received a bowl of rice, and was missing the green curry. I didn't panic thinking it would be coming out shortly. After 5 minutes had passed I asked one of the waiters where my order was. He said he would find out he came back and said it would be 2 minutes. 15-20 minutes later my food came out. I asked for it mild as I had already had the curry from here and it was too spicy when I asked for medium. It came out with 8 chilli's in it. All I got was "sorry its late". I got the bill and left. After receiving shocking service, long wait times and they still charged me more than I should have paid. Do not go here it will ruin your holiday.

Our favourite restaurant in Laguna
We always come to Albatross cafe for at least 1 dinner every year. The owner and his staff are always welcoming and friendly and the menu makes a great introduction to Thai food for our holiday. The best seating is outside overlooking the water. The area has been newly paved.

Perfect fusion of pizza and Thai!
Been here a few times whilst staying at Laguna phuket. Pizza is authentic Neapolitan sourdough from home. Thai food amazing- aubergine salad and banana blossom salads go well with pizza!
